In our 140th year of trading we increased our capabilities with the introduction of a new B2 Speedmaster XL Press - the new benchmark in its class - and a new fully automated Duplo Booklet System.

New Aerial Photos of Jones & Brooks Facility

We have recently had some aerial photographs of our permises in Rochdale taken which show the full scale of our operation.  Most noticeable of all is our recent inclusion of 204 solar panels which generate up to 38894 Kwh of electricity per annum.  The weather on the day these pitcures were taken was perfect.  The investment emphasises the conscientious approach Jones & Brooks takes towards the environment.

Jones & Brooks Secure New Patent

Jones & Brooks have been granted a new patent relating to the assembly of their specimen bags.  The UK patent number is 2461741 and is applicable from 9th January 2013 and will allow Jones & Brooks to enforce any infringements of the patent.  The patent is under the stewardship of CPA Global. Jones & Brooks buys finishing kit

Commercial Printer Jones & Brooks has installed a Heidelberg Polar 78 guillotine and Stahlfolder TH56 folder to boost efficiency.The Rochdale-based company, which specialises in producing NHS documents and forms, chose the new machines as they could be linked into its existing Tharstern MIS.They were further attracted by the Stahlfolder TH56's ability to store pre-sets, which will enable the firm to minimise set-up times for repeat orders and commonly used formats.Jones & Brooks Managing Director Ronnie Blair added: The modular design of the Stahlfolder also means we have options to extend the line in the future.  Ref: Print Week 27th July 2012 p.7



New Inline Finishing System Installed

We have recently installed a new RSP 2.0 Inline Finishing System on ot our Heidelberg machine. This will afford us more flexibility when finishing jobs with creasing, perfing and kiss cutting in one pass. This latest addition is easy to use and can cope with high speeds whilst printing at the same time. The ultimate benefit will be to our custoemr base who will witness even quicker delivery dats than usual on jobs requiring this type of finish.



NEW FULL COLOUR HEIDELBERG PRESS

Jones & Brooks have taken delivery of a new Heidelberg SM52-5 colour press.  This latest addition to the production portfolio puts us in pole position to satisfy our customers full range of printed requirements.

Jones & Brooks who are based in Rochdale and are the leading supplier of Pathology printed request forms in the UK are proud to announce that one of their printers Mark Ashworth has been awarded with the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) Young Apprentice of the Year award.  There were over 300 applicants from various printing companies and Jones & Brooks Managing Director, Ronnie Blair, acknowledges this remarkable achievement and attributes it to Mark's consistent performance which is further enhanced by the complexity of the products he is dealing with.  Jones & Brooks employ up to 50 members of staff and pride themselves on innovation and flexibility in an ever-changing and diverse marketplace

In May 2017 we were proud to receive our first iiE Silver Level Award for setting the standard for the environment and reducing our waste by 30%. We are comitted to being as environmentally responsible as possible and are always exploring ways of reducing waste and increasing efficiency.
